As a teenager he worked at a boat manufacturing plant and developed a love for boating and outdoor recreation from his dad. It was only natural that in 1982 they formed a partnership and opened a business together, formerly known as Aztec Marine at the same location. They were partners for over 20 years. Upon his dad's passing, Jeff decided to take a break from the boating business, but after being away for a short time, he realized it's what he does best and where he can best utilize his talents, so A-1 Boat Repair was formed with the addition of the upholstery service. Jeff still runs his business with the same dedication and ethics that his father instilled in him.
