Will try not to get all sentimental on ya', but the Brand and its mission is near and dear to our hearts. It embodies all that is good and pure (this isn't the 6 O'Clock news and you won't hear about murders, fires, or bad accidents here... not that we are blind to reality, but we want to be synonymous with harmonious things); Long story short, this covers the "WHITE" portion of our Company Name. Think Chivalrous and Virtuous. "ELEPHANTS"? Quite Simply, the founder's favorite animal. It was no accident that one of the lead Characters, Stomp, is an Elephant (And his "wife" is an Orangutuan (Or Orangatang)... Almost as if "this" is the founder's wife's favorite animal... hmmm... Kids will love Orisa). Okay, so what about Ballyhoo? That is not a common word. And we like different. Look it up, really it's about causing a stir - and it conjures "screaming from the rooftops"... atleast it did the time the Company Name was dreamt up, almost 15 years ago (2001). Hard to believe it took so long to get online as we have had mostly an underground presence the last 10 - 15 years, but now ready to share it with larger parts of the world. "INK"? It's just a special play on the word (a double entendre, if you will). Most would assume, at first glance, that we would cap the Company Name at Inc. instead of Ink, but we wanted to be creative; Also, as Art is a big part of atleast the Ballyhoozoo site (Ours and Yours), Ink seemed befitting. Lastly, and now it's time to put the cherry on top (Really, this time we ARE Capping the Company Name), we aren't an Inc. or Corporation (per se), but rather, an LLC. We are a Limited Liability Corporation out of Rhode Island and have been registered since 2004. That should about sum up the Genesis of HOW the Parent Company Name came to be, but what is the point?
