My family and I have made many happy memories in our Rocky Mountains. Red Feather Lakes is one of Northern Colorado''s best kept secrets! Just 45 minute scenic drive from Fort Collins makes if the perfect distance for a quick trip or a weekend stay. This charming community is home to approximately 800 full time residents. There are 3 grocery stores, 3 churches, Restaurants, a Library, 2 Fire Stations, and a Post Office to meet all your needs; not to mention wide open blue skies, mountain filled vistas, glacial lakes and trails galore! Cute, quaint, and mostly quiet; Red Feather Lakes has community events all throughout the year, ranging from Fishing Tournaments, Fireworks, Bingo, Music Festivals, Hockey Challenges and seasonal festivals. If you prefer to do your own thing, you have the options of exploring the beautiful lake and mountain terrain by ATV, hiking, snowshoeing, cross county skiing, bicycling or a quiet canoe ride across one of several high mountain lakes.
