Mobus Creative Negotiating is a global negotiation skills training organization. Mobus Creative Negotiating is a corporate negotiation training company utilizing over 30 years of teaching experience matched with the latest educational and communication techniques. Our mission is to make businesses more successful and their employees lives better through a creative application of negotiating strategies. This approach not only accomplishes better outcomes but leads to long-term strategic alliances. This reduces negotiating friction and diminishes anxiety associated with negotiation in general. Over the past 30 years the expansion of the global marketplace has made the art of negotiation more complex. There are often fewer vendors in a supply chain and the old methods of price-focused negotiation are not as effective (for sales or procurement professionals) as they once were. The Mobus Creative Negotiating method is based on two obvious but under-appreciated truths. First, business-to-business negotiation is not simply an economic activity. It is a human-to-human interaction and human beings are not always rational economic actors. Therefore, modern negotiating strategies require creativity. They are more complex and frequently they are repetitive. Secondly, all negotiations are not the same. Negotiating at a market in Shanghai is different from negotiating with a long-term supplier or customer. Our program builds off these realities to train business professionals for the global economy of the 21st century.
