Our Lead PE is a Certified GeoExchange Designer (CGD), Licensed HVAC Contractor, IGSHPA Trainer (GHP Contractor Trainer), and a broadly experienced Systems Engineer. The CGD training and certification from the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) and the International Ground Source Heat Pump Association (IGSHPA) is the most advanced training/certification available for GHP systems design, and it is the absolute minimum certification that should be allowed for any commercial GHP engineering work. You can be assured that the Geothermal Design Center will always assign at least one CGD to every GHP project we handle. We further work with highly experienced GHP designers across North America with collectively over 100 years Commercial and Residential GHP Experience, and we build teams with them to best serve our clients.
