He then received his medical degree at the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine where he also trained in general surgery. He was a National Institutes of Health Fellow for 2 years and studied the cellular basis of wound healing then traveled to The Netherlands where he worked at the Dutch Burns Foundation and developed dermal substitutes (artificial skin) for burn patients. He then returned to the United States to complete his Plastic & Reconstructive Fellowship in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he trained in breast and full body reconstruction, microsurgery, hand surgery, craniofacial surgery, burn surgery and also cosmetic surgery including Body Contouring, Breast Augmentation and Lift, Abdominal Contouring, Face and Neck lift procedures as well as Skin Rejuvenation and Hair Transplantation for both men and women ._x000D_
