I feel cheated and scammed. If you need a new roof, look elsewhere. Complete customer service failure and still no roof after 6 months. An insurance adjuster was out on January 14th, 2019 to assess the damage to my roof along with Loss Recovery Specialists. The claim was approved and a check was cut the same day. My insurance company has cut two checks total to Loss Recovery Specialists for my roof to be completed with one adding on Fernandez Roofing and Restoration. I have been very patient for the past 6 months waiting on my roof to be replaced. After being told time and time again it would be started in the next couple of weeks due to weather. The weather hasn't been nearly bad enough to warrant a delay of months on end. There is also a major conflict of interest that I became aware of only after I began looking more into the company. The owner's of Loss Recovery Specialists and the contracting company they use, Fernandez Roofing & Restoration, according to Google and the BBB, are married or at the very least related. After receiving a total of nearly $5000 from my insurance company, this public adjuster has failed to have the contractor start the work. The last check was cashed in April and it is now May and not a single thing has been done to my roof.
