Paul is using the same address for multiple business names offering the same service to apparently avoid having to take responsibility for his shoddy work and business ethics. He also runs "conroe foundation repair" and "conroe foundation repair pros". He and his team are incompetent and provide shoddy work. They never show up on time. They say they'll be there in the morning but will actually get there at 2 or 3pm if they show up at all. They appear to break things and do a sloppy job on purpose so that it has to be done again and there is a reason to increase the project time and cost of the work. His bill was 3 times what the original estimate was and I still had to hire someone else to come and repair things he worked on because they were not done properly. If you call him it goes to voicemail that is full so you can't leave any message. A structural engineer I had come evaluate things after Paul disappeared with my money said the "bracing" he installed in the attic was not necessary and that the new piers that they added under the house are not supporting anything. The crew did not use forms when pouring the footings for the piers so the concrete was spread around in areas it is not needed or wanted. Many of the piers that were installed on the new footings do not even touch the beams they are supposed to support. They are also cinder blocks with wood shims instead of metal piers and metal shims that were promised in the written estimate I was given. They drove over the corner of my septic tank and destroyed the wood frames on four of my raised garden beds and two large terra cotta planters by not paying attention to where they were going in his bobcat. A large amount of spray foam insulation was removed when they worked under the house and it was not replaced as promised. When they jacked up under a wall they pushed it up so high it was raised up into the ceiling causing damage to the drywall that needed to be repaired. He blamed it on the way the house was built and said it needed bracing in the attic before he could continue. At least one of the workmen that went up in the attic took smoke breaks up there because I found cigarette butts in the attic after they were done. Then when they started jacking under the house again they did the same thing with another wall causing even more drywall damage. It took over a month for them to get around to fixing the drywall that was damaged even though I pleaded with them to fix it every time I talked to them. They dug up and severed a pex water line and just left it laying on the ground exposed to the sunlight for a month so I ended up having to repair the water line and bury it myself. Pex should not be exposed to sunlight for extended periods of time per the manufacturer's documentation. To top it off when they poured the concrete footings they also poured a slab for a garage which ended up not being level and could not be used for any kind of structure. Although he acknowledged that he would be responsible for removing the slab and I would not have to pay for it he never did remove it. Instead he complained about having to rent a jackhammer to remove it but would not show up before 2 or 3 pm to use it when he did rent it so he would only be there working to remove it for an hour or so before leaving again. He eventually stopped showing up at all and I ended having to pay someone else $2000 to remove the concrete slab.
