Tradewinds Charter - Charter Fishing Service Based in Oregon Located in Depoe Bay, Oregon, Tradewinds Charter provides ocean cruises for a variety of water-based activities. As the premiere ocean charter service along the Oregon coast, it offers sport fishing, whale watching, and ecology tours. For those interested in fishing, Tradewinds Charter’s crew members outfit customers with all the fishing gear and instruction needed to fish. If weather becomes temperamental, the company also provides raingear and hot coffee. All the fish that customers catch are theirs to keep, take pictures with, and eat. Fish-cleaning and crab cooking is providied upon docking. During the fall of 2016, Tradewinds Charter celebrates its 80th anniversary. To commemorate this anniversary, the company is co-sponsoring fishing trips for Lincoln County veterans through the local Elks chapter. In addition, it is offering deeply discounting fishing trips during the late summer and fall seasons. To keep its customers updated, Tradewinds Charter updates its website daily with fishing reports. The 2016 season has seen a banner year for Dungeness crab, with many of the company’s fishing and crabbing trips producing above-average crab catches for passengers. In addition, the charter has seen prolific hauls of ling cod and rock fish.
