I’m caring, compassionate, and creative. I’m also stubbornly optimistic! When you’re hurting and struggling, you’re “in it.” This can make it hard to see the progress you’ve made and the hope for the future. It can help to have someone who truly cares about you and helping you improve your relationship. Someone that is determined and hopeful to guide you through the process of therapy. My training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, and Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy helps me truly assess each relationships strengths and areas of challenge. My in-depth assessment process helps focus therapy to your relationship’s needs rather than spending time practicing skills you may already have. I don’t want you to be in therapy forever!! I want to help you and your partner learn to connect more deeply, resolve conflict with less anger and animosity, and strengthen your friendship. I want you to leave therapy with the ability to care for yourselves and to take care of each other!
