If you need a good reliable Temperature controlled trucking company, then call Joe over at Westside. I was in a real bad position on a Friday when the trucking company originally I hired never showed up for the pickup. It was about 6 pm, and I was going to be in big trouble with my customer possibly loosing the business which I was on already shaky terms with this customer.
I started to call other companies hoping I would get someone to pick up, my hopes were getting closer to being out of luck with no truck. The rates that I was getting quoted were more then the profit that I had on the shipment.
I was getting really sick to my stomach with the problem that this other carrier had caused by flaking on my shipment. I was getting ready to shut my dock doors when I notice this brand new truck sitting in the lot across the street, I decided to walk over to the truck and just see if this truck was available.
I proceeded to the truck when the driver was actually leaving from his truck to get a bite to eat. I asked him if he would be able to handle my shipment. The driver was so nice and so helpful, he called the owner and ask him about the load, I figured if they took the load it would be expensive? I was wrong the owner accepted the load and gave me a price that was below the rate I was originally going to pay.
I have been using WESTSIDE sine then and they have been outstanding and one of the best trucking companies I have ever used in the last 21 years.
