Turning my key upon returning home, the cylinder surrounding the key popped out. Pins went flying everywhere. My jaw dropped--locks aren't supposed to just break! But within five minutes, I'd regained my composure well enough to do a quick search online. Our locksmith was out at the time, but he set an appointment for a few hours later and even showed up a few minutes early. I just didn’t want to call my car dealer again to replace the faulty key fob. While technology was great, I’d gotten so used to locking/unlocking my car remotely, the lack of it was driving me nuts.
