Providing financial planning and investment management for business owners and women who are balancing today’s demands with preparing for tomorrow. I started Heirloom Financial Services so I could empower people to make wise, educated decisions with their money. My goal is to help people understand their money, use it to create the life they desire and be free from financial stress and worry.
I enjoy working with like-minded business owners who are balancing employees, family and a growing business and value preparing for tomorrow. Many of my clients have employees they would like to encourage to save for retirement, whether they offer matching contributions or not.
Helping women with their financial needs is also an important part of my business. The most common time women seek my assistance is when they have been recently widowed or are going through a divorce. These are often the most challenging times we face in our lifetime. Having an experienced, trusted advisor on hand reduces stress and helps build confidence during a time of transition.
Helping my clients position their finances to reach their fullest potential is my mission. Whether that means setting up the right retirement accounts, creating a plan to retire soon, adjusting your investment mix to match your risk comfort level, helping you create a spending plan to reduce debt and more.
You deserve better than a commissioned sales approach to financial planning. As a fiduciary, I provide independent, objective advice and act in good faith and the best interests of my clients. I never accept any referral fees or compensation contingent upon the purchase or sale of a financial product and I always abide by the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors' strict code of ethics.
I moved to sunny Phoenix, Arizona from Seattle, Washington in 2004 with my husband, Scott, and our three children (now ages 24, 20, 19). I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from Southern Oregon University in Ashland, Oregon and my Master's of Science Degree in Finance from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. In addition to helping my clients with their financial needs, I also provide tax guidance and representation as an Enrolled Agent.
When I have time, I love watching movies, baking, hiking and working in the yard.
Fun facts about me: I grew up in Medford, Oregon and graduated from Phoenix High School in Phoenix, Oregon. I had no idea at the time that I would end up going from tiny Phoenix, Oregon (about 4,600 people) to Phoenix, Arizona (1.5 million people)!
