We had one-of-a-kind metal doors guarding the street entrance to our building. There was a problem with the door locks which refused to lock due to a misalignment. I had called a locksmith from a store nearby, who had no success in fixing it, if possible he only made it even worse. Bronx Affordable Locksmith came out within a few minutes of calling (18 minutes to be precise), assessed the problem, put in new hardware, fixed the alignment – all in about half an hour. And the charges? Believe it or not, it actually cost me 50 bucks less than what the other guy charged me as call-out fee. I called a couple of locksmiths in Bronx, NY 10460, and was quoted anywhere between $200 and $300 for the job. Bronx Affordable Locksmith did it for $140 and also provided an extra set of keys free of charge. I think I’ve finally found a locksmith I can rely on for quality yet affordable service. Odd as it may seem, I wasn’t even on the lookout for locksmith services when I stumbled across this mobile van from Bronx Affordable Locksmith. I needed a copy for my transponder car keys and asked if the technician could make it. He offered to make it then and there, within 30 minutes at a price that was less than half of what the dealership would otherwise charge. Amazed, I gave him the go-ahead and he got started. He had all the equipment in his van and I could tell that he was exceptionally talented. The key worked without a hitch and I couldn’t be happier. I’m planning some maintenance work at my apartment.
