Freedom at Home, a family owned and operated non-medical care agency, serves clients in Washington, Allegheny, and Westmoreland counties. We are committed to providing our clients the freedom to lead revitalized and independent lives in the safety and comfort of their own homes by consistently delivering affordable, client-centric, and dependable support services. Our mission is to help improve and maintain our client’s independence by developing a care plan that is personalized to meet the client’s specific care needs, whether those include companionship, personal care and/or homemaker services. Our personalized and affordable services are available 7 days a week and can range from a few hours a day to 24-hour care. Rigorously screened and trained caregivers assist older or disabled people to live independently in their own homes by helping them with the tasks of everyday living. Personal care includes assistance with activities of daily living (ADL), such as bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, mobility assistance, incontinence care, feeding, and medication reminders. Homemaking includes assistance with housecleaning, laundry, meal preparation, errands, respite, and transportation for appointments, errands, shopping, and outings. Companionship/Sitting includes socialization and basic supervision to ensure a client's safety and well-being. Ultimately, our caregiver’s compassionate, one-on-one care affords our clients the dignity to live productive, meaningful, and independent lives.
