My wife booked me an "Introductory Flight", as a birthday gift. I called Brian Potkin to arrange a time to take the flight lesson. He told me he would find out from one of his instructors when they can do it. He wouldn't get back to me and I had to constantly chase him to try and arrange a time. This was booked in September. Yesterday, now December, he tells me his students have crashed the plane and he is no longer doing flight lessons. Yes, that's four months ago. I asked if he could refund my wife the money - he tells me "I don't remember processing the charge, check your records please". Now my wife is trying to search through numerous credit card statements trying to find it. The cost of this isn't particularly the issue that's irritating me here. The fact that he put my wife and I in a position where we are forced to rummage through credit card statements and the fact that I constantly had to chase him is discourteous and unprofessional. Of course his website is still up and advertising flight lessons. Mr Potkin, when my wife booked this you told her, all I have to do is "Call you and turn up"... what the hell happened?
