Initially, Chicago Water Pros was fantastic. Mark installed a drinking water filtration system and did a wonderful job. He was efficient, fair and great to work with. He even came out and changed the filters a year later. I couldn't have been happier.
But after we had had the filtration system for two years, the pump would no longer fill with water. We were unable to get drinking water from it. The product was under warranty so I emailed Chicago Water Pros and got no response. I emailed twice more with no response. I then called the company and explained the problem and was told that I would get a return call. No one ever called me back. I continued to call- four times in total and each time I was told that Mark was away from his desk but that he would call me back. No call back ever happened. The last time I called, I calmly stated my problem and my frustration in not receiving a follow up call. I asked if they had a recommendation for another water filtration company that could help, as Chicago Water Pros must be very busy. The woman apologized profusely and said that she would mark my call as urgent. Yet I still did not get a call back.
I ended up spending a lot of time calling around to various water filtration companies before I found someone that said they could come to look at the problem. Because they are not the company who installed the system, I cannot use the warranty and have to pay the full amount. This is not ideal but I would like to have clean drinking water in my house ASAP so have agreed to it.
I'm sorry that Chicago Water Pros was too busy to even return a phone call. At this point, I wonder if they are a legitimate company; one who is able to fulfill product warranties and do their job.
