Deshawn develop a passion for music at the age of only ten years of age when he gained interest in hip hop music. Later at the age of fourteen DeShawn decided to take it a step further and acquired recording equipment to write recording and mix his own song. Deshawn develop a passion for music at the age of only ten years of age when he gained interest in hip hop music. Later at the age of fourteen DeShawn decided to take it a step further and acquired recording equipment to write recording and mix his own song. After a few years of fixing and tweaking his talent and with some influence leaps he would then decide to label the group. In 2013 he created the name they would call themselves which is Royal Power Music. Two years after creating the name and developing the logo DeShawn Gilles decided to partner up with the President and cousin Andrew Rene and go 50/50 on a Royal Power Studios. Royal Power Studios is a branch of the independent record label.
