Jim has been a blessing to us and we would recommend him to anyone needing remodeling or repairs in their home. Jim has been there for us and our family these last several years and helped us tremendously with our home projects- from small things such as installing appliances in our home to installing new windows on our whole house. We got to know Jim as a person and not just someone we’ve hired to do our home projects and renovations. Jim has dealt with tremendous personal obstacles in the past 3 years, from CANCER and radiation to numerous hospitalizations and surgeries that affected his daily health and deaths in his immediate family. Despite these things, Jim has worked tirelessly to complete projects at our home and our daughter’s home, and hasn’t let these obstacles keep him down. He’s beyond trustworthy, professional, and a master craftsman who is extremely detail-oriented. We like that Talon Construction is a small family owned business and you’re dealing directly with the owner. You’re not being passed on to someone who doesn’t know you or care about your family’s needs. Jim takes the time to check in with us and is great at responding to our emails or texts (my husband is partially deaf so that’s our preference) about project timelines, orders, and answers any questions we have along the way. While their crew is small, (generally 3-4 people), they provide MUCH better rates than a typical contractor. We’ve saved thousands versus using Home Depot or anyone else.
