Marquette, Wisconsin is the town that inspired the name for Paul, and the Noon Whistle signifies tradition in his family. Not only does it symbolize the annual trek his family takes to get away and spend time together, but It also sets the schedule for the first beer - no beer before the Noon Whistle.
