The owner of Harris Educational Services is a former colleague of mine. In the decade-plus that I have known Bernadette, she has held various titles including classroom teacher, curriculum specialist, workshop developer & presenter for the Florida Just Read Coalition, district-level insteuctional coach, curriculum development team lead, and assistant principal. She also served for two years chairing a team if her peers in strategic planning and acceeditation at a private urban school while completing her Masters in Leadership. I have had the privilege to work closely with her, observed her phenomenal methodologies with child & adult students, and seen teachers realize true problem-solutions and improve their professional practice as a result if her inspirational training. She commands great respect and collegiality from her teams through her relentless work ethic, "roll up your sleeves" approach, and tireless belief in the potential of ALL students.
