Our Story Toland Construction LLC is a locally owned and operated construction company located in Auburn Alabama. In 2009 Owners, Jay Toland and his wife Amanda built their first single family home in Opelika AL. and sold it before completion. Financing for a spec house was nearly impossible at that time however acquiring a lot from Jays brother and now business partner Matt Toland and having recently sold the house they were living in were able to obtain a loan. “I made a deal with the lender that if I couldn’t sell it I would move in it myself, after all we have to live somewhere.” says Jay Toland. “Everything we built we sold even in the difficult market conditions”. Amanda and I were a good team because I was a licensed and fairly knowledge real estate agent who could study market conditions and Amanda has an undeniable ability to make everything she touches beautiful. Together we were able to come up a floorplan and overall design that appealed to buyers. As our success and client base grew we began getting calls for custom homes and the rest is history. Today Toland Construction specializes in new construction residential home building in both Auburn and Opelika Alabama. We aim to give our customers the personal service and attention to detail they deserve and expect. As a staff of 6 fulltime employees we strive to stay on top of not only the quality but also the cost at which work is completed. There are plenty good builders who understand how building materials come together.
