I needed help with setting up a new smart lock on my front door. After an impressive advert lured me into buying the lock, I was left struggling to make sense of the instructions and install it. So, I called Salt Lake City Advantage Locksmith! Dave reached my location quickly, took one look at the lock and advised me against installing it. Turns out, it wasn’t authentic, but only a cheap imitation and showed me the real version of the lock. I could clearly make out the difference. I wanted a more secure lock on my door, and Dave provided me with a range of options with a full explanation of each one -- so much better than the other locksmiths I called, who basically gave me one-word, non-negotiable answers. He was prompt, extremely friendly, and had a fair price. I was really blown away by how positive the whole experience was; I will definitely recommend this company to all my friends.

My roommate and I accidentally locked ourselves out of our apartment when we were in a rush - after calling many different locksmiths, we decided to go with Mike because his pricing was much more reasonable. He came quickly (even though we are in brooklyn) and unlocked our door in less than five minutes! Overall, exceptional service, very fair pricing, and a good experience despite our silly situation.

Salt Lake City Advantage Locksmith was great. Tech was very friendly and courteous, while being professional and FAST! On the day of my appointment Shon had gotten "stuck" on an earlier job which would make him late for our appointment. Shon was was very mindful and reached out to me about an hour prior to our appointment to let me know he was running late and we then rescheduled for later that evening. I truly appreciated this as it allowed me to do other things than just sit around and wait all day for him. When Shon did arrive later that evening he again apologized for the delay and got straight to work. He drilled a new hole in our door and installed a new deadbolt for me in what I would consider a blink of an eye. He was in and out in just about 25 minutes. He even asked for a dust pan and broom to clean up after the job. I would highly recommend Salt Lake City Advantage Locksmith and Shon to anyone needing locksmith services.

If others take a leaf out of Salt Lake City Advantage Locksmith’s book, I don’t think locksmiths would have earned such a bad reputation after all. Unlike others, Salt Lake City Advantage Locksmith has never once failed to deliver on its promises. They’re on time, reliable, affordable, friendly, accommodating and professional! There was this one instance when Eric from Salt Lake City Advantage Locksmith called me up and apologized for a 5-minute delay! I bet other locksmiths wouldn’t even care if they’re hours late. Let me tell you, Salt Lake City Advantage Locksmith has no match in Salt Lake City, UT! I recommend that you call them up on 801-820-4238 for any lock and key issue. You won’t regret it!

Gorge was great! - very quick and responsive (I called him at 7:25pm while he was waiting for another client to show up and he got to my place around 8pm) - very thorough (went out again to get another piece to fit around my lock so that it actually fit in with the door) - and just did a great job all around (considering that my lock had been crazily installed previously, resulting in the lock actually poking out of the door, and actually having broken my key IN the lock) Too bad this is one of those businesses that you'd hope to never use again! (but if I were ever drunkenly locked out I'd definitely call Salt Lake City Advantage Locksmith )

Mike from Salt Lake City Advantage Locksmith was amazing. He was professional, friendly, and did the whole lock change in like 15 minutes. He talked to me throughout changing my locks, and explained everything to me as he was doing it. He told me funny anecdotes about his work, and really just brought a huge smile to my face.
