This company came from Vegas to Indian Springs just a few hours after they had removed my SILs body from the house. They had been put in contact with my daughter by a close friend and received permission by text only by my daughter who was in shock. Around 8pm they called for us to leave so they could come in and provide biohazard clean-up. We had family and friends gathered in the living g room struck with abhorrent grief when we were told to leave. My daughter wasn’t told to pack a bag for her or for her child and so in a disoriented rush we all left to find an affordable hotel on MLK weekend in Vegas. Aliante took us all in. The next day I called Aftermath and spoke with Joe Lodge, only to discover they hadn’t cleaned up the house and they hadn’t received approval from the insurance. Joe presented me with an estimate of $10,000 to $20,000 upfront before they started. This mistake led to the scene of the accident being left for 9-10 days and left my daughter & her child without clothing, hygiene products, diapers, shoes, or the like for these 10 days as they were then forbidden for health & biohazard safety reasons to re-enter their home. The company that was eventually hired after this disaster got right in and and got the job done for less than half of what Aftermath was asking and there was more precaution and work to be exercised due to the adoration and unattended matter that creates pathogens and dangerous microbesto be released into the air which everything inside the home.Friends had to remove the dogs from the backyard due to the unfortunate chain of events. I’m still seething that this process was delayed and that proper care and precaution were not set forth by this company to ensure the comfort, safety and well being of my young daughter and grandson. Manager Bill W insisted that I wasn’t even there. I hope this never happens to another family. .
