All of the balsam fir, pine and cedar used in Bessey Ridge Wreaths is sustainably harvested in the evergreen forests of Downeast Maine. Dear Christopher and Stephanie, My mother-in-law just called to thank us eloquently and effusively for the balsam center-piece you sent to her. "It is incredibly full, and so invitingly fresh that it smells like just-cut balsam! It gives me warm memories of my childhood in Vermont when we went to the woods to gather our own greens for Christmas. Nostalgia overcomes me each time I walk by it." I've ordered her one from LL Bean for the last many years, but never got such an enthusiastic response. Thank you for helping me give a dear 90-year-old former Vermonter such a lovely gift.
