The owner spoke to me on a Friday told me he would be at my location on Monday that he already had a current job in the area. As I live in a different state I hired an individual to be at the ready. He did not show up nor did he call. 5 days later my home warranty company said he finally answered a phone and told them he was sick and that's why he didn't come. On Friday a full week for when I had initially contacted him I received a phone call from him telling me that he had been sick. I told him I could understand being sick and not showing up ill however there was no reason he could not pick up a phone and call me in that time to tell me. He immediately became upset. I then explain to him that I had hired an individual to wait at the location for him to arrive and that was a good deal of money lost. His exact words were why the hell would you hire somebody to wait? He became belligerent started yelling saying that he did not need an "effin" babysitter at a location, he is free to do it on his own. I attempted to calm him and said it is my home It's my prerogative I do not want somebody just walking around my home unattended. He then began to curse me out and told me that I could just cancel my use of him through Home warranty that he was not going to tolerate this "BS". I told him not a problem I had already canceled him when he did not show or call. I also told him that I don't think that's very good practice when you're running a business. I then stated that I had already filed a complaint through the Home warranty company. I don't think he heard me because he was still screaming like a madman. As soon as I hung up the phone I received a text message from this individual telling me that he was going to file a complaint against me. For what I have no idea, possibly for being a homeowner who wouldn't just submit to whatever he wanted to do while traipsing around my home unattended. The entire incident was remarkably unbelievable. This "man" went from zero to oh my God instantly. I've never in 35 years of retail management ever seen somebody lose it so quickly. For him to try and demand to have unsupervised and unlimited access to my home and then become furious when I calmly stated it was my home in my choice said to me it was a good thing that I did have somebody there. If this is how he treats potential customers I don't know how he could actually plan to stay in business. Not only was this a rude and belligerent loss of business as a female looking back on the whole conversation I now wonder to what extent this would have gone had it been in person. I caution anybody think twice and then think a third time before hiring this company. If this owner is a representation of his work or I should say lack of work, lack of respect, lack of communication then you're better off looking anywhere else but to them.
