I would recommend Greg Golfo to anyone who wants a general contractor who is responsible, on the job-site and makes sure everything is done to the customer's liking. Greg completely redid our master bath. It came out fantastic. Next he put in a beautiful huge picture window in our den, replaced a sliding glass door with a French door, and redid the tile floor. Again it came out great. The first time family and friends saw the completed projects they couldn't believe how nice it all looked.
Greg was always responsive to my calls and when he said he was coming at 8:00am he was there on time every time or called ahead to let me know he was delayed. My wife and I really can't say enough good things about the workmanship and Greg's integrity. Also his quotes for the job were accurate and didn't change once the job started. Greg won't be the cheapest contractor you get a quote from, but the old saying of you get what you pay for is a very true statement for Greg.
We would use Greg again without hesitation.

Greg Golfo is outstanding. Did a very difficult job on my house that others had turned down. Made excellent suggestions on fixes for two other problems that I had, both had to do with water rotting my siding. He eradicated both problems. His prices were will within the expected range. We could not be happier with the work that he completed. We would hire his company again without hesitation.

Greg Golfo, Anthony Golfo (His father) and their companies are unprofessional, unethical and are being sued for fraud. In addition to the alleged fraud we have proof that the Golfo(s) presented estimates as bills (for work never done) as well as potentially altered bills to inflate monies owed. Further, AMEX has disputed over $70,0000 of materials on our behalf and sided with us against a a merchant (a building supply house) where materials were purchased on our credit card for use on other customers job sites (we've alleged). Additionally we've also alleged that the Golfo's purchased materials on our credit card and later returned them for store credit to the Golfo master account at the building supply house rather than to the client credit card.
The case is currently pending in the Suffolk County Court system and is eye opening. The documents from this case will be posted for easy reference on AvoidGolfo Dot Com which will be live in mid June 2016.
For those who are considering either Golfo Construction (Tony Golfo) or Energywise Construction Solutions LLC, (Greg Golfo) do so at your own peril, or at the very least please read our lawsuit.
