This person is untrustworthy. Unfortunately I did not do my research beforehand, only to find out he had a criminal past and a history of taking money from people. He was hired to build an inside railing that, not only looked like an outside deck railing, but was not secured properly. I had him remove it and decided not to go forward using him, as I didn't think he was capable of interior work. I naively paid him up front. It was agreed that I would receive a partial refund ($300 of the $800 I paid), and he has refused to send the refund. I have many messages saying "it was in the mail," that "he was on it," and that it "would be in my mailbox the next day." This has been going on since September. It is almost mid-November and I have yet to see the refund.
