Paintings and/or drawings of people, places, and things. And also studying history of local times and people, with an eye to genealogy information. Mainly, I am the chief executive of Isabel"s Art Studio Press. I now have three history books which are visible at the local Aiken County Historical Museum. I have also published eight books of fiction. This list includes historical novels: FREEDOM'S PRICE all about George Galphin and the Indian Trade, FATHER AND SON AT WAR, based on Sam Lee, mulatto founder of Aiken County and the University of South Carolina Law School and his service in the Confederate Army with his white father, General Sam McGowan, THE QUEEN'S STALLION, long novel starting with DeSoto and Coftachequi, following the horses he lost as the native Americans use them, then into Indians and Africans and the horses enslaved in SC low country, ending with the Swamp Fox, Francis Marion, using those horses to defeat the British.
