Serenity House SJC is an upscale affordable transitional sober living home for men in early recovery who are committed to remaining abstinent from drugs and alcohol by actively working a 12-step based recovery program. Residents must be working to better themselves by obtaining at least 20 hours/week or more of employment, approved educational classes or community service work within 2 weeks of arrival. Serenity House strictly enforces our zero tolerance policy regarding drug or alcohol possession and/or use by means of weekly random drug screens. There is a 10:00 p.m. curfew on weeknights and 11:00 p.m. on weekends, residents must attend 4 or more 12-step meetings per week and attend a mandatory weekly house organizational meeting.
