We are a non-profit organization, striving to provide fellowship to all Native and Non-Native Americans in Lubbock and surrounding areas. West Texas Native American Association was formed in February of 1991 with four goals in mind. To provide fellowship to all NATIVE AMERICANS and interested non-Native Americans. To educate and raise public awareness regarding NATIVE AMERICANS in our area. To preserve NATIVE AMERICAN culture. To promote traditional ways of conservation. Our activities include: Hosting a yearly NATIVE AMERICAN POW-WOW. Providing true NATIVE AMERICAN hand made arts and crafts. Teaching the public about NATIVE AMERICAN Heritage. Participation in membership drives.
