West Texas Native American Association was formed in February of 1991 with four goals in mind. To provide fellowship to all NATIVE AMERICANS and interested non-Native Americans. To educate and raise public awareness regarding NATIVE AMERICANS in our area. To preserve NATIVE AMERICAN culture. To promote traditional ways of conservation. Our activities include: Hosting a yearly NATIVE AMERICAN POW-WOW. Providing true NATIVE AMERICAN hand made arts and crafts. Teaching the public about NATIVE AMERICAN Heritage. Participation in membership drives.
