A Lycaena is a brialliantly colored butterfly, and that is also the symbol for Lupus. You see, Lupus has never skipped a generation on my mothers side of the family. I started Lycaena (Ly-see-na) Naturals because I believe that all natural is better. Why the name Lycaena Naturals you ask? A Lycaena is a brialliantly colored butterfly, and that is also the symbol for Lupus. You see, Lupus has never skipped a generation on my mothers side of the family. By naming my company the way I did, it allows me to educate people about Lupus and also about the hand made all natural products that I make. We have way too many chemicals out there and need to get back to basics. Well, that is what I do. I hand make all natural soaps, bath salts, salt scrubs, facial scrubs, and baby products. New this Spring, will be an all natural facial toner. I began my company in 2011, and it is now growing! I have three independant stores that sell my products. One in Lambertville New Jersey, and two in Oxford Michigan; I also work the Oxford Farmers Market. I have been making everything in my kitchen, but its time to complete my shop in the basement as I have outgrown my kitchen. That is where you can help; I am not looking for the big of all big. I just need a place dedicated to making my products and storing them. It won't take a huge amount of money to set up. I'm asking for $3000.00, that would set me up perfect and just for what I need. I know that my business will continue to grow, and hope to see that happen. The products that I make are a luxury product but are kept affordable. I am not out to make a million dollars, although that would be nice. I just want people to experience the products I have and enjoy them. My soaps all come with a hand embossed label, I buy premium un-refinded sea salts from around the world, and I use only the best ingredients. I do NOT use colorants, or fragrances, just essential oils and botanicals. So if you are able, this would make my dream come true.
