The poetic grandeur of nature is eloquently expressed in paintings by Lynne Friedman. Love for Lynne Friedman, the color, light and sculptural quality of land emanates from the surface. A landscape Fauve influenced oil painter steeped in her subject matter, Friedman has painted on location in the Colorado Rockies, Tuscany, the South of France and Spain, New Mexico and the Hudson Valley where she has her studio. She has been the recipient of seven artist residency grants
