I wish I’d read BOTH of the recommendations above before we gave him a considerable down payment to add a room onto our home. He is still up to the same antics and we’ve filed a civil complaint with our county magistrate. Paul and Kevin, I’m wondering if you ever got your money back?

I would not let this guy build me a sand castle. Please use him if you like delays, missed deadlines, abandoned guarantees and delayed communications. I suggest another vendor unless you have no other options. I would ONLY pay this gentleman AFTER ALL WORK is completed to the agreed upon specifications.

Paul I wish I would have read this before. This guy is a real class act POS. I gave him 1000.00 deposit to start a job two months ago. I have asked for my money back now going on 5 weeks after the delays and piss poor excuses are now actually comical. I have filed in Washington County small claims court to get my money back. He says he has cancer now and had to do all these treatments and this and that. Supposedly is now retired and turned all his accounts over to his lawyers which he won't give me the names of. But he does have my money he says. Heaven forbid you put it in the mail. That would be way to easy and logical. This guy and his antics are absolutely pathetic. We have a signed contract plus a slew of texts stating he has my money. So this case won't get any easier to get my money back! STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM STEPHEN SHANHOLTZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!
