Description I am always finding something that inspires me and keeps me creating interesting pieces of jewelry. Recently I have been mining, polishing, and drilling my own beads using rocks and minerals found in Oregon such as agate, jasper, petrified wood, and carnelian. Most of the minerals I acquire are collected by combing the Calapooia River. I prefer to use wire and beads to highlight my findings. I love looking at agate, jasper, and petrified wood because it can look plain from a distance and yet have nice details that make it unique and special. I think this is a nice metaphor
