I need the donor to be "O" because since I am "O" blood type, I can ONLY receive a kidney from a donor who is "O" as well. And, this is quite difficult to find. My body is breaking down from the treatments, leaving me with a poor quality of life. Since I do not have any family or friends able to donate, I am left relying on the kindness of strangers. If not this, then I have to wait for someone who matches my criteria to die. These are my only two options. This will be my second transplant. In 1999 my angelic sister donated. But, because of circumstances beyond my control, the lack of proper medical care and supervision has placed me in the unfortunate situation. I'm not the only person waiting for kidney. My husband and immediate family are waiting as well. My illness has severely affected their lives, too! Regardless of what I previously wrote... I am a very positive person. I absolutely love my life and all life around me. I cherish and appreciate all that I am and all that I have. I want to be around for many many more years, sharing life's experiences with my loving husband, family and friends! After I find my KDA, I'll use this forum to help out others find their KDA
