DIDN'T SHOW UP. DON'T BOTHER WITH THIS "COMPANY." BEWARE. Read other reviews here and on other sites. They will just not show up to previously scheduled appointments without notice. We scheduled a move with these guys at least a week in advance, and then a few days before the appointment, they call. This call consisted of a distracted-sounding "employee" essentially forcing a reschedule on us. This rescheduling was fine for us, since it was only 30 minutes difference, but the call still bugged me because of how unprofessional it was to change a time with no discussion whatsoever. It was just, "This is the time we're coming now." Come moving day, they didn't show up. Not at the old time, not at the new time. Of course, during this time, my wife and I both called them frantically, because we have rented a U-Haul at their request (so they have no liability, it turns out) and are faced with the possibility of having to move all on our own. An hour and a half after they are supposed to show, we get a very just-woke-up sounding call from the "company," giving some sob story excuse about scheduling problems. They operate under different names, advertising on Google Maps, Yelp, and Craigslist. Portland's Family Movers, Salem's Family Movers, and I think I've seen Northwest Family Movers. Don't give these jerks any business. Also, they're not licensed. Look up the article: "Portland's Family Movers cited, driver arrested in ODOT sting"
