I called to enquire about a few sewing machines I have been researching and spoke to a man named Todd. He advised me about them and I ultimately took his advice. My machine arrived today and I haven't tried it out yet, but I can say that the shipping service was super fast and everything has arrived with no damage that I can see. Todd has been very helpful and I am considering buying a new serger machine. I called Ace to ask questions about the Husqvarna Viking Sapphire 835. Todd answered the phone. He was polite & friendly, and answered all my questions. I am leery of buying sight unseen from the Internet. Todd had given me a good price, but I decided to call some other stores in my state. One store would not quote me a price over the phone even though the store was over an hour away from my home. The saleswoman asked if I had a price from someone else and since she asked I told her. She hit the roof & was very rude. The next day I ordered the Sapphire from Ace. It came in a few days. So far, I've pieced a lap quilt & now I'm working an appliqué Christmas wall hanging. I love the 10" space. Quickly got use to the needle up/down & the feet being raised/lowered with the foot pedal. There is definitely a learning curve with the sewing advisor, but the manual is easy to follow. The lights are nice, but do get hot. There was a slight flaw/chip on the underside of the throat. I will buy from Ace again.Hopefully will order the extension table that goes with the Sapphire soon.
