Stay away from this contractor. You will see postings in Craigslist for the basements work. They just take your money and hardly show up. Highly unprofessional. They do sloppy work.His name is Chris Huber. Stay away from this contractor if you care for your home,money and time.

I hired Chris through craigslist. I find myself at a complete loss of words in expressing the extreme frustration and stress that I have experienced after hiring him. The guy is full of lies, ignorance, is super greedy and has no sense of integrity. He promised to bring in 5 "Boys" on day 1 to remove the existing laminated flooring and install new one for 1100 dq ft. Day 1, the 2 boys worked for like 4 hours. Day 2 & 3, he does not show up or respond to my phone calls or text. Day 4, after must insisting, he sent an experienced guy (his brother Bryan) to work with the "teenage boys". They did not work for more than 6 hours. Day 5- it's just his teenage son again with another boy and they worked for like 3-4 hours. Day 6- don't show up until noon when I decided to quit. The "boys" left all the garbage on the entire floor of a bedroom for me to bag it (imagine long pieces of old laminate flooring). In 5 days, all that got done was less than 400 sq ft of flooring; demo was never done in the closets, a kid doing my flooring which still feels unstable. And to top it all, one has to listen to his lectures on morality and respect. And all other tasks that were discussed On day 1 were forgotten because the guy called Chris never showed up again. I got ripped off by paying out more than I wud have otherwise without the stress. Please do not hire this guy at any cost. You can hire others who may not show up but still would be more polite and cooperative and less arrogant.
