STAY CLEAR OF CITYWIDE!!. Google reviews on them. They are SCAM ARTISTS. We paid Darius Smith in advance ($299) to order a part on 4/29/14 - SILLY US!
They were supposed to be ordering a part to fix our oven door the following week. After making excuses and postponing the repair by another week, Carolyn Smith (who is his wife) called on the scheduled day of the repair to say they could not order the part as it was no longer available. We instantly asked for a refund and were told it would take 6 to 8 weeks to get our money back. We told her that was unaccptable and called numerous times to get the status of our refund. On the rare occasion that we were able to get Carolyn on the phone she was rude and condescending. We went to 4 of the "business addresses" they have listed in the City and Town of Poughkeepsie. One was a housing project, one was the post office, one was K Mart and the other was a run down home. No evidence of their business anywhere.
It's been 3 months now when we call they do not answer the phone. Managed to get Darius on his cell phone phone 8/4/14 (845-204-0928). He told us he had checked with the office and it would take until the end of August to get our refund!! We know they are stalling and will never refund us our money. Please if this has happened to you report them to the BBB, your local authorities and the IRS.
