Originally built by Jack and Lillian, "Aunt Billie", (Bickell) Nash in the mid 1940's - the tradition of a family oriented atmosphere continued through June and Francis Bickell and now the family of David and Donna (Bickell) Almeter. The original cement block cottages were replaced in the early 2000's. The Leelanau Area has wineries, shops, restaurants, church, golf, fishing, star-gazing, walking & biking trails, Beach Bum Frontier League Baseball, Leelanau Sands Casino and the Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes. Located 5 miles south of Suttons Bay and 10 miles north of Traverse City with a beautiful view and access of 350 feet of private beach overlooking West Grand Traverse Bay. Children can swim and wade in the shallow waters that extend out approximately 200 feet, they can build sand castles on the sugar sand, or use the private playground. To make every vacationers stay enjoyable, the following regulations will remain. Cottages are a Smoke Free environment. Linens not include Sorry no pets! Each cottage is limited to immeditate family of 6 people. Bicycles are not allowed in the cottages. P.W.C. are welcome, but we will enforce all safety regulations without exceptions.
