Our 10" aluminum cast sundials are made from 'green sensitive' re-cycled aluminum. An initial design is created using CAD design software that is submitted to the buyer for their approval. The design is then cut out of styrofoam on a CNC router. The foam pattern is then packed in green foundry sand, where it is then vaporized by molten aluminum, leaving an exact replica of the pattern.
