Hi! i went to the Barks and Bubbles Pet Grooming Salon This was the second time i took my puppy to a groomer, my first experience was at pet-smart where i had a great experience. I went to "Barks and Bubbles" because they had a special on Tuesday's and Thursday's ( $25 grooming for small dogs). I took my 8 month old Terrier mix here because it sounded like a good deal and I didn't find any negative reviews or any at all for that matter, so i assumed it was a good place to take my dog. I called on Tuesday and a lady answers (owner Sheila Palumbo) the phone and said they were closed on Tuesday due to some construction work so she let me come in on Wednesday instead with the same deal. The place looked decent, Sheila greeted me and told me to fill out some paper work, I explained to her i wanted to TRIM my dog and to leave her face alone, being that she is a groomer i assumed she understood what i wanted and she seemed like she understood. She told me to come back in 1 hour ( if you're late you will be charged late fee). I paid beforehand (as required) and left for some grocery shopping in the mean time. After 1 hour i went back and she had completely shaved my dog bald. Sheila continues to excuse herself by saying she shaved her and that she did a good job, and that my puppy is thinning and that dogs like mine (Terrier mix) which she refers to a Yorkie these dogs thin, she's been doing this for 15 years stay away from this place if you care about your dog!

I was afraid at first because in looking on the intenet Barks & Bubbles is under - the wrong heading and date they opened because I asked when I went. Some how the Name (Barks & Bubbles ) was put in 2 places - the place I went to opened in 2011. Not 2001 - I almost didn't go. But just make sure you go to the right place it opened in 2011 - not 2001 - And the women name was Sheila - and my 2 dogs looked great. We will be going back.
