I had been a ATT customer years ago and dropped them because of poor customer service so I recently decided to give them another chance. Mistake. I signed up for a Samsung G5, and the folks at the Lindenhurst store could not be nicer. A few days later I was experiencing a problem with the email on my phone. Emails would be deleted from my phone as soon as they were removed from my mail server. The phone would attempt to sync with my mail server when all I needed was for the phone to act as a mail client. The salesperson said, "If there are any issues with the phone you can return it for a refund within 14 days". She forgot to mention the 35$ restocking fee. After days of visits to the store they offered new mail clients, suggested I leave all my emails on the server (I can't because they need to be archived for my business), said it was my mail server, said all phones work like this now, etc. etc. So I finally give up and bring the phone back only to be hit with the $35 restocking fee even though the phone has this wacky email bug! I call ATT directly to try and get my money back. The ATT person on the phone says, go to the store and tell them they forgot to record the phone as returned on the computer, then we'll give you your fee back. I tell them " you call them". She gets the store on the phone, they say "your not getting your money back" and the ATT customer service rep hangs up! So, never again ATT.
