We had the difficult problems and tough challenges that folks have in marriage, but with God's help, counseling and hard work we overcame them fairly early on. We brought up three great sons. By 33 years later including an award from the MidColumbia Council of Governments for Distinguished Service, I added the seminary credentials. Global needs rapidly opened computer counseling worldwide. And God blessing me with this was timed well, because traveling to seminary in winter storm badly injured my knees in a car accident!
