Tim and Tansa Hastert ripped my girl friend and I off for almost $15,000. My recommendation is to stay away from them. We made our final payment on the trailer they promised in May 2017. In fall 2019 we visited the garage and the owner told us that Tim has not been there for some time and that he wasn't welcome back. He told us that Tim had stolen all his good tools that he kept in the garage. Our trailer was still in pieces, and Tim had taken the refrigerator we bought and brought to him to install in the trailer.The garage owner told us that we were not the only people who had been cheated. He also told us that Tim is living off the grid somewhere in the area. Don't ever deal with these people. They will take your money and run with it. Just like they did to us.

Tim and Tansa are crooks and shady. I gave them $1460.00 between 2/25/15 and 3/3/15. Tansa Hastert signed a written contract stating I gave her the money to go toward work they would do on my 1960 Layton (they haven't done any work at this point) A family issue has caused me to have to move to Florida and I asked for my money back on the 8th of March. (just 5 days after giving them the money AND sent them multiple text and voice messages asking them to return my call and they never returned any of my messages) I had a police officer call them today 3/17/15 and THEN they IMMEDIATELY returned my call stating that I would have to sue them to get my money back. These people are scammers. They told me I needed my wheel bearings packed BEFORE they would pick up my camper to take it from Kalkaska MI to East Jordan MI . I had TWO different mechanics come out and tell me my wheel bearings were FINE !!!!! But I did it anyways because Classic Trailer Specialist demanded I do it. Something is not right here with this business. They know I am on disability with a limited income and am needing to leave the state for a serious reason and they refuse to return my money. STAY AWAY from these crooks.
