Alternative healing, including Reiki, EFT, Trauma Energy Release, GEOTRAN; freelance writer covering people and places of Four Corners area. Words and Wellness, LLC, combines my interest in alternative healing and journalism. Though the bulk of my work is freelance writing, I find great satisfaction and joy in helping other people rediscover their body's own ability to heal itself. Stress, past experiences that led us to believe mistaken things about ourselves, and a host of other issues often stand in the way of reconnecting with the core of who we really are. It is a delight to help people on their journey to find those connections both through my writing and my alternative healing work. Enjoyment of research and writing led me to write the ebook, Healing and Growing with Reiki: Exploring Reiki I, II and III (Reiki Master), an indepth look at Reiki. It includes comprehensive, detailed information about Reiki's up-to-date history, hand positions and how they affect the body, symbols and what they're used for, the chakras, the aura, and much more. As a Reiki Master with a PhD in metaphysics, I love continuing to learn more about Reiki and other alternative health techniques.
