My daughter Kaelie participated in the Davis Dyslexia Reading program. I see improvement in Kaelie's. reading fluency and comprehension in a short amount of time. She seems to be able to have more control and not feel so disoriented. We work on the trigger words over the weekend, and she has fun making models out of clay. Since she is a visual learner, I feel this really helps her remember the word when she reads. Kaelie is able to continue using the Davis Program to support her in developing lifelong reading skills. It is awesome that she has some one-on-one help at school using Davis methods. The techniques with the Davis Program just make sense. I hope in the future that this program would be taught in schools. The Davis Program should be available to everyone.
