This Doctor shocked me because he had such a vibrant, friendly personality! He was clearly interested in my case and my symptoms because he was thorough with his questions and listened to my answers. Because I had to do my own research about Parkinsons and Dystonia before I found him, I am able to tell from my first impression that he knows his field of practice intimately. Dr. Evidente scheduled me for testing right away next week. Very importantly, he did NOT over-react to my mental health history and current treatment, which other doctors have used to explain away my uncontrolled muscle movements and gait problems, maybe since they come and go. This Dr. has a positive upbeat attitude and I left feeling HOPE that someone would finally diagnose me. I actually felt happy after the appointment!!! He certainly seems to CARE about my situation and that is something I haven't felt from a Dr.(depite going to specialist after specialist) for 3 years.
